Wheat, Galloway & "infanticide masquerading as politics"

Well The "AGE" is easier to get things through...

So we have the AWB scandle -- but for an alternative view, these ideas I can approve of:

UK's George Galloway noted that US David Bonior referred to the UN sanctions on Iraq as "infanticide masquerading as politics" where 36 cents per day was allocated to each Iraqi (e.g. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=amARmGsMibU

Does this imply that the AWB were in fact contributing to a good cause by helping lessen the evils of this UN campaigns that Galloway estimates to have cause the death of a million people?

It is expedient to whip the AWB for doing business in a key market that required kickbacks. But I count the politicians like Howard and Bush and Blair guilty of setting up a flawed structure to cripple Iraq, kill millions, and force numerous corporations to breach UN sanctions.

The whole thing stinks and I hope these political characters get their just rewards in due course.
