I'm still amazed at how much easier it is to get stuff into the AGE than the Australian.
This is the latest post-Bush address effort ... still the same old theme: our poor little Americans need to have these 'best friend' messages ... or so we think. I suspect that we, or those at the top, need constant flea-grooming protocols, or like barking dogs under a full moon, "are you there still? ... are you there still?". Three headed hounds harbour Hades: in Hell they might be more like Monty Python Poodles, but I suspect that the neo-con con is really now a long 'cha-cha' conga-line into the pit of self pity, a black hole of hordes, and a sump of suspicions and paranoia. So, like the kkk-wizard in "Oh Brother, Where Art Thou?" ... who decided the answer was to "... hang ourselves a Negro" -- I dropped a 'blackie' (Australian for a whole lot of burning tyre rubber on the bitumen) on a blog site. As usual the AGE is the smoothest ride these days. (no slur intended)
So, as invited (not that I need much of an invitation these days), I responded to the article theme of: "These admirable attributes should not be ignored"?
This basically translates, in barking-dog, to: "Is it safe to criticise the top-dog?"... without "get'n ya ass bitten off!"
See the link for the full story. This below is my turkey stuffing for today. Enjoy.

“The US … is an engine room of science and industry…” -- yes it has been, as others have been, and will be in the future. We are also now entering a ‘climate change’ stage based largely on this success. The long-term view is different from the short term economic perspective.
“… the benefactor of billions in humanitarian and economic aid and an absorber of massive migrant populations from every conceivable corner of the globe. …” –- well given that they can largely print money for international oil business, their ‘free lunch’ looks a little less magnanimous. Let’s wait and see how generous they are when there is no foreign policy objectives to gain, and it costs real US tax payer dollars to fund the overseas ‘mission’. With Iran and others moving to a basket of currencies with a strong Euro factor for transacting oil business we might see the other side of this coin.
… “These admirable attributes should not be ignored.” –- well, of course, “admirable attributes” should not be ignored. Even the boggy-man of the day, George’s nemesis, Bin laden is a father and husband etc.
“Do you agree?” –- what is this, a test question for pre-schoolers?
Yes, for peace-of-mind and moving our thinking forward our “anti-American” feelings should be tempered while maintaining broad condemnation of the US’s recent faith-based foreign policy, aggressive international war on countries, sovereignty, justice systems, and support for tyranny by various self-appointed ‘chosen’ peoples, plutocratic despots and un-elected military generals!
